Northeastern Yin-Yang Medium

Three feet and three inches of red cloth, the old hall’s men and Ma Xian.

One day I broke free of the mortal world, and my name spread far and wide.

I was born in a remote village in Northeast China in the 1980s.

At seven, I watched an incense divination. The immortals declared that I was born with a spiritual bond, fated to suffer three calamities and eight hardships, and destined to become a spirit medium, establish a spirit altar, and welcome the immortals.

When I was young, I refused to believe in fate and insisted on defying it.

I worked as a waiter, made sales calls, and drove a taxi, doing everything I could to live an ordinary, peaceful life.

But fate could not be escaped. Evil spirits clung to me, strange events followed one after another, and trouble never ceased.

Everything is fate, and nothing is in our hands.

In the end, I let go of my mortal attachments, opened a spirit altar, welcomed the immortals, walked between Yin and Yang, and divined fortune and misfortune.

From then on, I traveled between the worlds of the living and the dead, guiding wronged souls to rest and solving the uncanny mysteries of the mortal world. With the spirit-medium’s path as my own, I subdued evil spirits in every direction!
