Shu Yuzhou, an unemployed young man, went to the wrong grave during the Qingming Festival. He accidentally awakened the strange girl Lan Yuan and recognized her as his grandma, and helped her break the seal. From then on, the two were forced to travel together. The two teamed up to solve a series of supernatural cases such as a murderous second-hand car, a murder of a rich family, a mysterious murder, a strange village ritual, and a top-notch murder case, revealing the conspiracy and ancient grudges behind it. Shu Yuzhou also learned talismans and witchcraft under Lan Yuan's guidance, and grew from a wronged young man to a master of Taoism. In the process, they met police officer Pei Xun and others, and eventually joined forces to crack the evil forces' sorcery formations and save hundreds of thousands of heroic souls. The two gradually became connected from master to disciple, and jointly guarded the right path in the world.

This is probably the second comic series of the same novel that I have watched, and this version has better modeling.
