Before the timelines overlap, in the viewing timeline, the Water Prince's story focuses on companionship and growth. Romance in the original timeline only makes up around 10% to 20%.

[The story is basically about a little Heavenly Dao who accidentally takes an extra nap, only to discover that a sweet Shui Mo romance has turned into a pair of bickering frenemies who 'spar' whenever they meet, after their daughter, Mo Mo, awakens.]

To keep Shui Mo from being provoked into becoming enemies by mistake, the little Heavenly Dao shows everyone how their story unfolds in different timelines.

So here's the question: when the awakened Mo Mo sees Shui Mo's romance from before her awakening, will she keep 'standing against the whole world with a cold glare,' or will they make peace and become a love story unlike any other?
