On the Divine Continent of the Nine Heavens, all living beings are born with a Heavenly Vault, through which they cultivate and become gods. No one knows that this foundation for growing stronger is actually a deadly shackle, allowing the gods to harvest their faith!
Lu Guan, a youth from Luoxia City, awakens his Heavenly Vault and is deemed to possess a worthless Shattered Jade Vault. He is cruelly jilted and subjected to endless ridicule. But this broken Heavenly Vault is actually the peerless Dao-grade Primordial Myriad Forms Vault. He is born with a pair of pupils that can see the flow of qi, letting him pierce illusions and discern the source of all things. He also possesses the innate divine general Faceless, who can replicate anything.
The youth lies low, then makes a powerful comeback! He joins the Qingyun Sect, ventures into trial secret realms, slays enemies, battles prodigies, and tramples every insult underfoot. Lu Guan gathers the Seven Myriad Forms and travels alongside the beauty Su Qingli, fighting his way from the mortal Azure Heaven Domain to the undying divine realm.
His fated rival, Jun Wuya, commands the Devouring Heaven Vault and pursues him at every turn. The Blood Demon Sect, the Jun clan, and the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion all attack one after another. The mastermind behind everything, the Nine Heavens Heavenly Emperor, controls the world through the Heavenly Vault system and unleashes a great calamity every ten thousand years to harvest all life.
As ancient secrets come to light, Lu Guan sees through the truth behind the Heavenly Vaults and resolves to defy fate and break the deadlock. He cultivates the supreme Dao of the Vaultless, escapes the shackles of heaven and earth, and leads all living beings in a war against the heavens.
He braves reincarnation, battles the Demon Ancestor, and fights to the death in the Nine Heavens Celestial Palace, facing the Primordial Eye, the source of the world.
A worthless vault defies the heavens; myriad forms determine the fate of the world! Watch as the good-for-nothing of the past overturns the rules of the ages, shatters the cage of the Heavenly Dao, creates a new and free Vaultless Era, and ascends to eternal transcendence!
