Warhammer 40K: It Starts with Mushrooms

A 32-year-old cook unexpectedly falls into the perilous underhive of Warhammer 40K.

He has no overwhelming combat power. The System grants him only four basic abilities, and he has one goal: become the variable that changes the world so he can return to his homeland.

Starting from a garbage heap, he relies on cultivating fungi to carve out a sliver of hope for survival.

He takes root among the lower classes, steadily building a farming enterprise and gathering strength, until he gradually controls the entire hive city and launches an expedition to the stars.

In a galaxy shrouded in gun smoke and despair, he builds his territory and expands his power while sparking a wave of change led by ordinary people.

[Early stages focus on farming and business; the middle and later stages focus on the struggle for power.]
