"My Old Mother" is based on real life events in the countryside in the 1990s, telling the story of the suffering life of the widow A Fang. After losing her husband at the age of 32, she refused to remarry because she was reluctant to let go of her children. Being a father during the day and mother at night, he fucks Laura day and night and raises a pair of children. Years of hard work has left him covered in aches and pains. He is also bullied by evil neighbors and fights for homestead and hurts others. He has no choice but to file a lawsuit to defend his rights. After decades of poverty and hardship, their children finally grew up.
