I Want to Pilot a Gundam, Not Turn into a Gundam Girl, Hey!

(This is what happens when the author’s Gundam obsession takes over.)

“Oh, um… I’m so sorry…”

In a splendid white hall, a self-proclaimed goddess in charge of transmigration gave an awkward, apologetic smile. “We were actually supposed to choose someone else to transmigrate, but, well… you got caught up in it by accident.”

“I want compensation.”

Facing the goddess, Li Ya, dressed in a blue school uniform with blood staining one side of his waist, said, “I don’t mind you transmigrating that handsome guy who saved someone, but what was the point of running over an innocent bystander like me?”

“Do you know how terrifying it is for a law-abiding young man like me to get hit by a big truck running a red light?”

“I demand compensation!”

“Ohhh, compensation… Yes, you do deserve compensation.”

The blue-haired goddess slapped her palm with her fist. “How about this: I’ll grant you three wishes, then send you off to be reincarnated?”

“Really?” “Really!”

“I want to be Ultraman!” “That’s not possible!”

The goddess shook her head like a rattle. “I can’t do that.”

“Then… I want to pilot a Gundam! Unicorn, Barbatos, the original Gundam, Turn A, that sort of thing. And I want to have the specs needed to pilot them!”

“Sure.” The goddess pulled a little notebook out of nowhere and jotted it all down.

“Um, also, I don’t want to go to any super grimdark settings, like Warhammer or the Milky Way universe!”

“Fine. Anything else?” The goddess added another note.

“Third wish? Hmm…” Li Ya pondered for a moment, then suddenly grew bashful. “I want to be a girl…”

“Done.”

The goddess closed her notebook. “All three wishes granted at once!”
