[Light Western fantasy comedy + gender-bending comedy + max-level playing it safe + adorable contrast]
Li Mo is a 28-year-old, hopelessly innocent straight bachelor who transmigrates into a max-level Demon King being pummeled by a million-strong army from the Church.
Not only is he saddled with the apocalyptic crime of massacring a city, but, worse yet, he has become a voluptuous, breathtakingly beautiful Demon Queen!
To stay alive, Li Mo takes over a run-down tavern and plans to keep a low profile as a cook, relying on his culinary skills.
Who knew that the glowing egg fried rice he makes with the Demon King’s power would not only smell so good it could crush everything else on another dimension, but also help channel magical energy!
And so, the tavern takes a turn for the absurd.
A tsundere elf princess is so tempted that she keeps swallowing hard, refuses to leave the tavern, and follows the proprietress around every day with a memory crystal.
The haughty paladin Elena takes one bite, cries that it tastes like her mother’s cooking, and willingly becomes the tavern’s freeloading security guard.
Even a Shadow Assassin who came to poison the place is cured of a terminal illness by a pot of braised pork, then drops to his knees and insists on becoming a kitchen assistant!
What makes Li Mo lose it most is how these food-loving buddies treat her like one of their own!
Late at night, the elf princess and Elena drag her into the same bath with them.
Faced with a sea of pale skin beneath the water and her friends’ teasing, Li Mo, wearing a stunningly beautiful face, clutches his chest and stares fixedly at the ceiling, screaming internally: “Cut the pork into chunks and blanch it, then caramelize the sugar with rock sugar… Stay calm! I’m a woman too! I absolutely cannot get a nosebleed!”
Then an army descends, intent on destroying the tavern.
Li Mo sighs and opens the Book of Origins, turning it into a kitchen knife. He cleaves the Pope and his throne into dust.
“Make way, all of you. Don’t disturb me, the braised pork is simmering in the pot!”
