[The rating was just posted and will rise later]
A crazy, unhinged top × a beautiful, stoic, tragic bottom
[Melodrama + rekindled love + forced love + a groveling pursuit + love and hate + happy ending]
Six years ago, Ji Ci left Mu Jinzhi without a word and went abroad to study.
Six years later, Ji Ci returned, and didn’t seem to be doing very well.
Mu Jinzhi asked Ji Ci, “How have you been these past few years?”
With a pale face, Ji Ci told him, “Pretty good.”
Only later did Mu Jinzhi learn:
Every “I’m fine” Ji Ci said meant “I’m not fine,”
and every “I hate you” meant “I love you.”
Like an old ailment, like a worm burrowing into the bone, impossible to quit and impossible to forget.
[Reading guide: 1. Both leads end up together; the top is seven years older than the bottom.
2. Misunderstandings and a story where the characters have trouble expressing themselves.
3. The bottom has depression, so there will be some melodramatic writing.
4. Both leads suffer. I’m putting them both through the wringer.]
I really like this beautiful yet tragic tone!
The writing is smooth and the story is not cliche. Will be updated soon!!!
It's super nice and very in line with my taste. I can't believe this is the author's first long novel 😳
Like! It makes me feel happy when you torture me [sending my heart]
