Truth or Dare: I Called the Diva's Number

Gu Xingze transmigrated into a parallel version of the entertainment industry five years ago. With no System to help him, he relied solely on memories from his past life to become an assistant director for niche variety shows. His first love, Su Qingyan, had also once been his girlfriend. Now she was one of the top, aloof divas in Chinese entertainment, and the two had been out of touch for four peaceful years.

During the taping of the nationally beloved comedy livestream variety show Extreme Laughs: The Journey, a guest was suddenly unavailable, and Gu Xingze was forced to fill in. During a Truth or Dare punishment, he had to call his ex-girlfriend in front of everyone. Fifty million viewers tuned in, waiting to watch him humiliate himself and crash and burn.

But when the call connected, a cool female voice shocked the entire internet: “Our daughter keeps asking for her daddy. Should I bring her over?”

The internet ground to a halt, Weibo crashed, and the bombshell revelation that they had secretly married and had a daughter set Chinese entertainment ablaze! Just as Gu Xingze was on the verge of social death, the all-purpose Super Dad System, five years late, finally activated!

A four-year-old cutie made a surprise appearance on set, transforming a grueling budget travel show into a max-level dad-and-daughter showcase! With god-tier skills, Gu Xingze wrote hit songs, prepared Michelin-worthy food in the wilderness, and churned out blockbuster scripts, capturing the attention of the entire internet. Watching their tender interactions, the once-aloof diva’s frozen heart began to melt. She joined the show herself, launching a sweet, hilarious variety-show journey for the family of three that had viewers clamoring for more!
