Hong Kong Films: Boss B, Why Is Kwun Asking Me to Switch Sides?

The late 1980s were a time full of opportunity. Lin Lie initially just wanted to use the gang as a shield, make money in peace, and clean up his act as soon as possible. After all, everyone knew there was no future in gang life. But his boss was a real bastard. He not only coveted Lin Lie's business, but also wanted him to take the fall. If they wouldn't let him live, then he'd fight his way to survival! With the System in hand, Lin Lie overcame every obstacle and ultimately became a legend of Hong Kong. Decades later, when reporters interviewed Mr. Lin Lie, the legendary stock market god of Hong Kong, king of shipping, energy tycoon, secret financier of a Southeast Asian nation, and head of the Lin Group, which stood above the four great families, this legend sighed and told them: “Back then, all I wanted was to make a decent living!”
