Clear-headed, aloof older sister who knows how to stay alive × seemingly cold, actually obsessive younger brother
[Older woman/younger man romance + entertainment industry + villainess + transmigrate into a book + secret crush]
Song Jingyi transmigrates into a book as the villainous older sister in a wealthy-family romance about siblings who are not related by blood.
In the original story, she’s been hung up on Song Yuchen for ages. She’s allergic to kissing any man but him, so she does everything she can to break him and the heroine, Jiang Nanzhi, up. In the end, he and the heroine team up against her, tormenting her until she’d be better off dead, before burning her alive.
After reading the original, Song Jingyi thinks: How awful… Whoever wants that guy can have him. I’m out.
Nothing matters more than staying alive.
She immediately contacts her agent to quit the entertainment industry.
A billion in breach-of-contract fees?
Fine.
Property division?
I don’t want anything.
She’s willing to lose everything, as long as she can get away from her seemingly cold, secretly obsessive little brother.
But just as she finishes the paperwork and prepares to run, Song Yuchen stops her.
“Song Jingyi, you see me and run?”
Song Jingyi: If I don’t run, you people will kill me, won’t you???
He leans close, his voice low. “We’ve already signed the contract. If you don’t appear in the production, this time the penalty won’t be just a billion.”
Song Jingyi: “Can I really not do it?”
Song Yuchen: Then you’ll have to marry me!
Song Jingyi: Never mind. What if I can’t act?
