Warhammer: I Interrupt Everyone's Ultimate Moves in 40K

Ji Bochang had a lifelong affliction: he couldn't stand to let other people finish what they were saying.

He transmigrated into the body of Mair Nygard Bonjin.

On his first day after being conscripted into the Imperial Guard, he was thrown into the brig for punching the Psyker being used in a demonstration while the instructor was showing off psychic defenses. The reason was: “The way he was forming his hand signs just made him look like he needed a punch.”

From the depths of a hive city to the interstellar battlefield, he discovers a bizarre talent: right before an enemy unleashes their ultimate move, he can always shut them up in the simplest, most brutal way. A Chaos Sorcerer's blasphemous ritual? One melta shot smashes the arcane focus. An Ork warboss's WAAAGH yell? A shovel to the mouth. An Aeldari Farseer's prophecy? “I predict you'll find out what it's like to take this punch.”

He has no psychic gifts, no mechanical upgrades, and has never even worn a proper set of storm trooper armor. Yet the galaxy's supernatural beings are all left awkwardly speechless in the face of his “opening move.”

Because he never gives you the chance to make yours.

And when the shadow of Khorne's power looms over the entire sector, and a grand ritual requiring the recitation of a hundred thousand true names is being prepared, the whole galaxy turns its gaze toward this ordinary Imperial Guardsman.

“Interrupting one spell is quick reflexes. Interrupting a hundred thousand? That's faith.”
