An address that doesn't exist on any map: No Ferry Road, No. 13. Chen Du pushes open this door for the seventy-third time.
The first seventy-two times, he faced “it” alone in the abyss. All seventy-two times, he chose to give up. No one told him the rule of the abyss: one person cannot get out alone.
On the seventy-third try, a new order pops up on his phone: “Bring someone with you.” The person in the mirror on Mirror Street isn't him. It's his failed self from the previous attempt, frantically carving words into the glass: “Bring. Someone.”
Seventy-two defeats, and each time he left behind a fragment of himself. When the fragments form an anchor, and the anchors connect into a path to escape, the living ferry ghosts across the domain, and the dead ferry the living. Who is ferrying whom?
