Investiture of the Gods: I Became the Biggest Villain

The novel uses a system of gods and immortals, the Investiture of the Gods, the Three Teachings, the Chan Sect and Jie Sect, Jiang Ziya's investiture of the gods, the Myriad Immortals Formation, and other elements from the original Investiture of the Gods and later prehistoric fantasy fiction.

A modern man transmigrates into Jiang Ziya, but not at the beginning of the Investiture of the Gods. He arrives at the very moment the War of the Investiture of the Gods has ended and Jiang Ziya has finished conferring the titles. When he wakes, the Investiture of the Gods is in his hands, and all 365 gods have taken their places. Everything is set in stone.

Then he discovers a horrifying truth:

The Investiture of the Gods is a scam. The souls of everyone who was deified are trapped inside the list, reduced to energy batteries for some mysterious being. And he, Jiang Ziya, is the administrator of this battery System.

Now he must dismantle the completed Investiture of the Gods, from beginning to end.
