Cai Minmin, an adorable newcomer in the fine arts department, is head over heels for Yuan Song, the design department's top-tier star. She brings him breakfast, waits around for his class schedule, and barges into the ballroom dance club, only to have her heartfelt confession rejected in public and become a laughingstock across campus.

Heartbroken, she buries herself in her art and makes a comeback as a brilliant top student. She no longer revolves around him.

Yuan Song slowly begins to panic. Once he understands his feelings, he turns into a groveling suitor: waiting outside her classroom to walk her places, buying her a complete set of art supplies, staying up late with her because she's afraid of the dark, and taking care of everything from warming her hands to getting her milk tea.

When she is falsely accused of plagiarism, he defies everyone to clear her name. When his family hits a rough patch, she quietly helps him out anonymously.

The once-cold senior has fallen hard. The more heartless he was before, the more desperately he chases her now.

A year later, Yuan Song returns to campus to propose. "I didn't know how to cherish you before. For the rest of my life, I want to make up for it by giving you all the love and favor you deserve."
