Bright Sword: Short on Supplies? Old Li, Start Bragging!

After transmigrating to northwestern Shanxi, Chen Ye becomes a quartermaster in the New First Regiment. Looking at Hanyang rifles with worn-out rifling and wounded soldiers who can’t even get enough bandages, he thinks his start is hell itself, until he binds himself to the “Battlefield Supply System.” As long as Li Yunlong boasts under pressure in battle, his words instantly turn into mountains of supplies! At the Battle of Cangyun Ridge, Li Yunlong roars, “If we had enough ammunition, I could punch straight through that little bastard Sakata’s headquarters!” [Ding! Valid boast detected. Delivering 300,000 rifle rounds and 1,000 crates of mortar shells!] Staring at the ruined temple warehouse, now piled high to the rafters, Chen Ye is stunned. “Regiment Commander, you just keep making boasts big enough to blow a hole in the sky. I’ll take care of filling the warehouse!” While other armies scrimp on bullets, the Independent Regiment levels the battlefield with heavy artillery! Li Yunlong: “Give me four cannons and I’ll flatten that stronghold!” [Ding! Heavy artillery company equipment delivered!] The brigade commander is dumbfounded. “Li Yunlong, where did you get a whole set of Italian mountain guns?!” Chu Yunfei is green with envy. “Brother Yunlong, how come your Eighth Route Army has trucks and a field hospital too?!” The Japanese high command goes completely mad. “Why does this Eighth Route Army get richer the more we fight them? Where on earth is their mysterious supply line?!” See how Chen Ye joins forces with Old Li to smash the Japanese blockade with outrageous boasts, build an ironclad supply network spanning the base areas, and sweep across northwestern Shanxi!
