Survival in the Wasteland

The Withering Virus sweeps across China, and overnight, thousands of miles of land become a sea of corpses.

The dead rise and devour human flesh. The rule of law collapses completely, and human kindness and morality are worthless.

Lu Zheng, a frontline police officer, lies unconscious for half a month with severe injuries. When he wakes, he faces a living hell.

No supernatural powers, no System, no miracle falling from the sky.

Only a rusty blade, an ordinary human body, and family and brothers on the brink of breaking apart.

The brothers who once fought by his side grow ambitious. His gentle, family-loving wife is trapped in a desperate situation, and his simple neighbors reveal the ugliness of human nature.

Order crumbles and hordes of corpses run rampant. More terrifying than zombies are the greedy hearts of men.

From a dilapidated town to a county-seat prison, from seeking shelter in the mountains to fighting for dominance among communities.

With an ordinary human body, Lu Zheng withstands the zombie hordes, quells internal rebellions, foils power plays, and builds a new order.

He is no saint and shows no weakness. He holds fast to his principles and slays the wicked.

Amid the upheaval of a chaotic age, his burning spirit will protect those who remain!

When civilization is reduced to nothing, I will be the faint light in this world!
