The Curvy Nanny Is Smoking Hot, and the Disabled Commander Is Losing His Cool

(1970s setting + funny everyday life + taking on the world + getting rich + following the army)

[Innately strong, radiant heroine + gloomy, celibate, disabled hero]

He Jingyan distinguished himself on the battlefield, but an explosion left both his legs crippled. From then on, he could only get around in a wheelchair.

To look after him, the military leadership hired countless caregivers, but he drove them all away.

That is, until he met Shen Yuxiang.

Shen Yuxiang didn’t treat him like a disabled man. She didn’t even treat him like a person.

-

Shen Yuxiang’s father’s legs were crushed while he was working. Her younger brother was coughing up blood, her little sister had gone blind from hunger, and her mother couldn’t read a single character. To earn enough to keep her family alive, Shen Yuxiang went to the city to work.

As a live-in caregiver for the He family, she would earn thirty-five yuan a month, with room and board included. She could eat meat every day and listen to operas.

Best of all, as long as she took good care of her employer, the leaders would give her little bonuses whenever they felt like it!

Shen Yuxiang was very pleased with the job, even though her employer was extremely... uncooperative.

But she wasn’t some delicate little girl. She had plenty of strength and tricks up her sleeve!

-

When He Jingyan refused to take his medicine, she forced it down him with a huge iron spoon.

When He Jingyan felt cold, she piled a ten-jin quilt on top of him.

When He Jingyan’s wheelchair got stuck in a muddy ditch, the little caregiver didn’t hesitate to scoop him up in her arms, leaving the entire compound stunned!

Everyone sighed, “What did Commander He do to deserve such a handful?”

But who could have guessed that just as everyone waited for He Jingyan to fire Shen Yuxiang, the usually aloof commander began guarding her from other men like a watchful sentry?

Shen Yuxiang: “Commander, Old Wang next door wants to pay me forty yuan a month to work at his house!”

He Jingyan sprang to his feet. “I’ll give you eighty! No, I’ll give you all my monthly allowance!”
