Honghuang: Ruling the Underworld from the Start, Standing Up to Nuwa

[Primordial-world fantasy + Ruler of the Underworld + sign-in System + defying fate]

After transmigrating to the primordial world, I became an ignored wandering soul in the underworld.

With no lineage and no backing, even the lowliest ghost bailiff dared order me around.

They all said the underworld belonged to Empress Houtu, was the end of reincarnation, and the destination of the Six Paths.

But I refused to believe that.

Ding! All-Purpose sign-in System activated!

Sign in at the Naihe Bridge to obtain the [Divine Reincarnation Eyes]: with a glance, I can decide life and death; with a thought, I can determine reincarnation.

Sign in at the Hall of Yama to obtain the [True Book of Life and Death]: command yin and yang, and decide the fate of the living.

Sign in at the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk to obtain the [Legacy of the Great Dao of Reincarnation]: transcend the Three Realms and escape the Five Elements.

In just a hundred years, I went from a lonely soul to the true ruler of the underworld.

Nuwa issued a decree: “The underworld is governed by the Heavenly Dao. What makes a mere mortal like you worthy of ruling over reincarnation?”

I looked up Beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens and smiled faintly:

“Whether I'm worthy isn't for you to decide.”

Nuwa flew into a rage and descended in person to punish me.

That day, the entire primordial world saw it:

A young man, holding the Book of Life and Death and standing atop the Yellow Springs Road, drew his sword against Sage Nuwa.
