The poem says: At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the heroes fled to the Central Plains, and the beggars in Huaixi went to the world.
The battle of Poyang determined life and death, and it took four hundred years for Hongwu to open up the world.
It is said that at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, politics was corrupt and the people were in dire straits. There was a son of a poor tenant farmer in Zhongli, Haozhou. His surname was Zhu and his given name was Chongba. Both his parents were dead and he was homeless. He entered Huangjue Temple as a monk, but was kicked out and wandered around begging, suffering from hunger and cold.
Exactly: the dragon lurks in the abyss, the tiger lies on the post.
One day, his childhood friend Tang He sent a letter inviting him, and Chongba defected to the Red Turban Army Marshal Guo Zixing. Because of his majestic appearance and extraordinary courage, he was recruited as a personal soldier and made many military exploits. Guo Zixing betrothed his adopted daughter Ma to him, and he also got Xu Da, Li Shanchang, Liu Bowen and other civil and military assistants.
From then on, Zhu Chongba changed his name to Zhu Yuanzhang. Following the destiny, he gathered volunteers, built high walls, accumulated grain, and slowly became king. He fought a decisive battle with Chen Youliang at Poyang Lake and defeated the enemy with fire; he destroyed Zhang Shicheng, collected Fang Guozhen, and made a northern expedition to the Central Plains to expel Yuanlu.
In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang ascended the throne as emperor, the country was named Daming, and Jianyuan Hongwu was established. He was born a beggar and eventually became the founding emperor of the country.
