Against the Current: Sand and Mango Juice

On the planet called Stargazers, a bizarre attack takes place in the forest without a sound. The police make no headway, so they invite the organization Two Worlds Joint Bureau, to which the protagonist Henghesha belongs, to step in and assist with the case. Henghesha and his friend Yinshihu naturally accept the invitation and head to the crime scene. But as the investigation progresses, Henghesha realizes that the case may be more complicated than it seems. It even involves two local subversive organizations, as well as the “Mandate of Heaven” beyond the skies, which has kept this civilization's heavens sealed off. The truth behind his adoptive father's disappearance five years ago also gradually comes to light...

Henghesha took the bottle of mango juice from the fridge. He could picture its crystal-clear appearance and icy taste. It was his favorite flavor, but... he couldn't remember buying any mango juice recently.

Still doubtful, he unscrewed the cap and prepared to take a sip.

But he thought he heard something fall into the juice, stirring up a tsunami in the bottle and churning the fragrant scent of mango.

What was it? A coin? A piece of candy?

Henghesha couldn't be bothered to guess. He gulped down a mouthful of the mango juice, not knowing what had been added to it. Only when the cold juice spread a warm sensation through his mouth did he realize

it seemed to be two milliliters of sunshine.
