Hey! That's My Cat!

Gu Zhi always thought the stray orange tabby in her apartment complex was the coolest cat in the world.

It never sucked up to anyone, put on a show, or accepted handouts.

Then Zhou Yan showed up, and Gu Zhi was horrified to see the cat change. It started rubbing against his pant leg and rolling over to show its belly...

“???” Gu Zhi said. “Who are you?”

The orange tabby rolled its eyes. “Anyone but you.”

Gu Zhi got even more annoyed. She diligently went to feed the cat every day, but the orange tabby stayed aloof and haughty, barely acknowledging her.

Then one stormy night, she accidentally stepped on and broke a little glass bottle.

Inside lay an orange cat folded out of paper, a little ugly-cute.

The next day, Gu Zhi discovered something amazing!

She could understand what cats were saying!

But only half of it. For example, when the orange tabby insulted her, all she could make out was, “You... such a... dum...” Like a radio cutting in and out.

But when she got close to Zhou Yan, the cats’ words suddenly became clearer. She couldn’t figure out what was going on, so she started secretly approaching this cat-favored guy, hoping to pick up a few tips.

A gentle romance in everyday life, with a fantasy twist!

A slow burn, but well worth getting invested in!

But the orange tabby flicked its tail and narrowed its eyes, its whiskers lifting ever so slightly.
