[Beast world + one heroine, multiple love interests + five beast husbands + rivalry for her affection + doted on by all + raising and nurturing + farming]
The moment Su Tang opens her eyes, she has become a sickly female in the beast world, despised by her tribe.
She has no beast markings and no one to rely on. Worse, the Blackstone Tribe throws her into the Misty Forest to be sacrificed to the legendary Beast God.
Everyone expects her to die.
But Su Tang refuses to die.
With her modern cooking skills, knowledge of herbs, and dishes that can repair beast cores, she survives in the Misty Forest and even happens to take in five beastmen abandoned by their tribes.
A canine boy with impure blood, a cold and destitute white fox priest, a black leopard slave who loses control and hurts people, a silver wolf heir robbed of his throne, and an ancient Azure Dragon king sealed away for a hundred years.
Each one is more trouble than the last, and more difficult to raise.
Others call them useless, dangerous, and better off dead.
Su Tang simply rolls up her sleeves and starts cooking. She gathers herbs and treats their wounds, builds caves, fires pottery, dries beast meat, and little by little turns a tiny, shabby cave into a new tribe.
Later, the five tribes fall into turmoil, and the Misty Forest stirs back to life.
The tribesmen who once abandoned them kneel and beg them to return.
The canine boy, eyes red, stands guard in front of her. “I recognize only one female master.”
The white fox priest lowers his eyes and smiles faintly. “My god has never been the Beast God.”
The black leopard slave grips his knife in silence. “Whoever lays a hand on her, I’ll kill.”
After reclaiming his throne, the silver wolf heir’s first act is to place his crown in her hands.
The ancient Azure Dragon king breaks free of his seal and bows his head to her. “Su Tang, you’re the one the beast world should worship.”
Only then does everyone realize that the sickly female they once sacrificed had long ago raised five useless beast husbands into kings of the five tribes.
