The Stunning Screen Queen Blacklisted by China’s Entertainment Industry, Yet a Global Grand Slam Winner

[Stunningly beautiful actress + international entertainment industry + stories within stories + a touch of ensemble cast]

In her previous life, she debuted as an idol, then starred in countless terrible films. After being sacrificed by a newly risen top-tier star, she left the Chinese entertainment industry to study in Hollywood. Her attempt to make it in America failed, and she died in an accident while filming her own movie.

After a fragment of her soul fused with the lingering soul of a Chinese student in Britain from another time and space, Ruan Jinmei woke to discover that her family back home had gone bankrupt and owed 100 million yuan, while her parents had run off on vacation. Supported by friends, she got by in Britain and started making films again.

Blessed with breathtaking beauty, she appeared in a Sam Smith music video that became a global sensation as soon as it was released. People everywhere fell at her feet, calling her their wife and mommy.

Her first film caused a sensation at the Venice Film Festival and won its highest honor. The global worlds of fashion, rock music, and cinema were shaken to their foundations, and overnight she soared to become a rising global star.

Luxury brands and famous directors begged to work with her. Every major actress, rising star, top-tier star, and internet celebrity in the Chinese entertainment industry trembled with fear, collectively spreading smear posts to keep Ruan Jinmei from rising, determined to stop her from returning to the industry.

Who could have guessed she wouldn’t care in the slightest? Offers kept coming, and she was busy filming a Thai horror movie, a Japanese-Korean co-produced drama, and a big-budget American sci-fi film.

After taking home Europe’s three major film awards, she stuffed her platinum Birkin with Oscars.

Now millions back home are begging her in writing to return to the Chinese entertainment industry, calling her a national treasure lost overseas, a peerless pearl stolen by the West.
