[The Ex Begs for Her Back, but the Second Male Lead Wins]
In their seventh year together, Ruan Ning finds out that he is marrying someone else.
Fu Sicheng tells her,
“It’s just a business marriage. You’re still the one I love.”
But the marriage contract
says it plainly in black and white:
Produce an heir within one year.
On the last page of the agreement
is Fu Sicheng's signature, in his own hand.
She smiles and tears up the pregnancy test results.
Then she disappears from his world.
He thinks she'll come back sooner or later.
But he doesn't know
that someone else was already there to love her through her hardest years.
That night,
he kneels in the rain, eyes red.
“Ningning, I'll give you the place of Mrs. Fu. Please come back!”
Ruan Ning smiles.
“Fu Sicheng, I don't want it anymore!”
