My Big Shot at Home Loves to Play the Underdog

Lin Yi is widely regarded as the bottom-ranked student in the Beast Taming Department. He sleeps through class, ranks last in exams, and his pets do nothing but nap or act cute. Then, on the eve of the National Beast Taming Tournament, the school beauty Su Wanqing's S-rank Flame Phoenix goes berserk, and none of the instructors can do a thing. Lin Yi yawns and says to his own chubby orange cat, "Go teach it how to be a cat."

Then the chubby cat rolls over and slaps the Flame Phoenix to the ground with one paw. The whole school erupts. His roommate Wang Lei drops to his knees on the spot. "Bro, you call that a cat? That's an ancient primordial beast wearing cat skin!"

Lin Yi looks innocent. "I don't know either. It just likes acting cute."

From then on, Lin Yi's "ordinary" life is over. S-rank divine beasts line up to call him boss, hidden powerhouses rush to pay their respects, and even the Global Beast Taming Association sends him an invitation. Lin Yi just wants to keep a low profile. After all, he never wanted to be a big shot. His pets are the ones who insist on competing with each other.
