When chaos first emerged, the Gate of the Divine Dao appeared, followed by the Immortal Dao and the Spirit Dao.
The first living being in chaos was born, named the "Chaos Demon Ape." The Chaos Demon Ape took control of the Gate of the Divine Dao, which had already gained sentience and began to manipulate him. After the Chaos Demon Ape sealed away the other two paths, he began wandering through the chaos. More and more beings followed him, until at last the Chaos Demon Ape ascended to the Divine Lord Realm.
The Chaos Demon Ape founded the Eternal Divine Kingdom. As the first being born in chaos, he came to be revered as the Ancestral God.
He appointed the first nine beings who had followed him as the Nine Heavenly Emperors, tasking them with helping him govern the chaos.
Then, manipulated by the Gate of the Divine Dao, the Chaos Demon Ape made all the people of chaos worship him. Boundless faith poured into his body, and his power began to surge once more. Yet no one knew that a crisis was quietly approaching behind this rise in strength.
Another consciousness was born within him. By the time he discovered it, it had already grown enormously powerful.
He could only seal himself away. The Gate of the Divine Dao seized the opportunity to escape his control and unleashed the Twilight of the Gods, destroying the Eternal Divine Kingdom and the Nine Heavenly Courts beneath it.
It founded a new Eternal Divine Kingdom.
But in the end, the Gate of the Divine Dao had miscalculated. Before sealing himself away, the Chaos Demon Ape entrusted the Great High Priest, the person he trusted most, with a piece of Primordial Chaos Stone containing his own blood essence, along with the Gate of the Immortal Dao. He had the Great High Priest take them to the Abandoned Lands, giving the beings of chaos hope that they could resist the rule of the Gate of the Divine Dao.
