When the last spark of the source flame on Forge Star was cast into the void, two colossal stars and seven battered ships plunged toward the blue Earth. The white giant Tianxing and the gravely wounded Yinfeng crash-landed on the Chinese grasslands. The black tyrant Tieshi's treads tore across the American desert, while the other nine warriors scattered among glaciers, rainforests, and pyramids. The surviving remnants of the Shuoyuan race awoke on an unfamiliar world, the source flames in their chests pulsing in resonance: Earth's core was calling to them, its frequency identical to that of the source of their life.
On a winding mountain road in the Qinling Mountains, a human colonel witnessed the giant transform and bleed, and caught the whisper that pierced through the crust: “Come to the planet's core and inherit me.” Tianxing no longer wanted to sacrifice his comrades, yet he had no choice but to dismantle his adjutant's skeleton to keep a dying scout alive. Tieshi's dark-red warhammer pulverized the road as Shattered Star circled overhead, watching. Two races of fugitives, the primordial fire of a planet, and a secret hidden deep in the mantle, older than Shuoyuan itself.
But Tieshi was listening, too. He knew as well: the path to the planet's core could only be crossed over someone else's source flame.
The final confrontation between heir and outcast, protector and destroyer, will ignite beneath the gaze of human civilization, inside the blue forge known as Earth.
This is a story of exile, kindling, and sacrifice. Every life burns only once.
