Ofina transmigrates into the only daughter of a declining noble family in the Middle Ages.
Her father is a worthless count, addicted to gambling and wildly extravagant. He squanders a century of family wealth, causing their hereditary title to fall from count to viscount, and beats his family day in and day out.
Unable to endure it any longer, she eventually takes her father’s life with her own hands.
Ofina plans to disguise it as an accident, but her second uncle’s informant betrays her.
Murdering a relative and killing a noble: the evidence is irrefutable.
The case draws the royal family’s attention, and the king personally presides over her questioning.
In the royal court, she bows her head and pleads guilty, asking only to die in exchange for her family’s safety.
Unexpectedly, the king neither punishes nor executes her. Instead, he grants her a chance: when she comes of age, she may face her second uncle in a public contest for the right to inherit the viscountcy.
Back on her estate, Ofina works to calm the people while secretly putting plans in motion with her modern knowledge.
With the family fortune gone and no money or influence, she starts from scratch and builds up wealth and resources. With her household fallen on hard times and no one willing to help, she takes the initiative to cultivate connections and build a network.
On the day she comes of age, Ofina strikes at the root of her second uncle’s power and forces him to concede.
The viscountcy she wins is only her first step.
The rules of this land are due for a change.
[Content note] This is an unconventional female-led coming-of-age story. Thank you for your understanding and support.
The story takes place in a fictionalized medieval setting, drawing on some aspects and conventions of European medieval life without aiming for rigorous historical accuracy. Certain details have been artistically adapted to serve the plot. Please don’t dwell on anything that seems implausible, and enjoy the story.
Also, this is a story where readers can pick a love interest. The male lead has not been decided, and the plot mainly focuses on the heroine’s growth.
It's a pretty standard lord novel. It's worth mentioning that this article doesn't seem to have magic elements. It's still full of enthusiasm. The atmosphere may be a bit depressing in the first few chapters, but it starts to get into a rhythm after the heroine officially takes office. It has some group portraits, and will focus on describing the functions and appearance of the things invented by the heroine, as well as people's reactions to these products. The rest of the main points are in the introduction, so I won't repeat them. So far, the content of this book is quite to my liking.
Come over to support me from this book, it's very well written.
Rococo style is simply invincible
You can keep chasing, it's not bad
Encouragement, great plot.
The author has accumulated a lot of medieval knowledge, and the elements in the text are full and in place.
It's okay to give yourself a five-star rating 😳
