Great Tang: My Mother Remarried, and My Stepfather Is Li Shimin

Forensic doctor Shen Zhibai transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and becomes an overlooked five-year-old in a military family.

His father, who was presumed killed in battle five years ago, suddenly returns. He not only has a Tujue princess in his arms, but also demands that his first wife be demoted to a secondary wife!

Looking at his arrogant scoundrel of a father and his cruel grandmother, Shen Zhibai sneers and takes his mother’s hand. “Mother, we don’t need this trash. Let’s divorce him!”

His father scoffs. “Once you leave the Pei family, let’s see how you and your child survive on the streets!”

But as soon as mother and son leave with nothing, his mother catches the eye of “Old Li,” the wealthiest man in town, and promptly remarries!

To support the family, five-year-old Shen Zhibai takes up his old profession again.

With a single scalpel, he cuts through countless unsolved cases in the Tang Dynasty! When he demonstrates modern forensic techniques, the Minister of Justice is stunned, the court officials gasp, and Crown Prince Li Chengqian gladly becomes his bag carrier!

Until one day, his scoundrel of a father is implicated in a treasonous murder case, and the entire family is sentenced to execution.

His father frantically kowtows and begs wealthy “Old Li” to save him, only to discover in horror that “Old Li” is wearing an imperial robe!

And the five-year-old son he abandoned is seated beside the throne, looking down at him coldly. “My stepfather is the emperor. Who do you think you are?”

His father’s eyes roll back, and the whole family is consumed by regret!
