[Interstellar sci-fi + frontier exploration + farming and conquest, no heroine and no romance, a multiverse galactic setting (including but not limited to Stellaris, Warhammer, Faraway Planet, Scorn, and more)]
Lian Xing was replaying an interstellar strategy game when a flash of white light sucked her inside. When she woke, she found herself in another world, transformed into a gestalt consciousness undergoing mechanical ascension.
Luckily, her secretary and mobile base had come along, and her godlike interface officially came online.
So, to find her way home, Lian Xing began mass production and expansion on a grand scale. Her growth curve soon went exponential.
But when the global satellite network was finally complete, Lian Xing was stunned. “This is Earth? And these are still humans?!”
The remnants of “humanity” pleaded, “Great one, save us! Save humanity!”
(This is not an invincible-protagonist story. But as a gestalt consciousness, the protagonist fears nothing less than localized losses, so scenes along those lines are inevitable. Please don’t read if that bothers you.)
