A Bear Hug for the General Manager: All He Needs Is Me

(Two male leads + bear-type romance + workplace story)

One accidental collision sent the iced Americano in Shen Shancheng's hand splashing all over Jiang Yuzhou, the group's general manager.

After that, a perfectly warm Americano would mysteriously appear at Shen Shancheng's desk. Jiang Yuzhou couldn't explain why he had started ordering a coffee he never drank whenever he worked late. It was all because the chubby young man had once said, “General Manager, you're too tense. Coffee tastes better when you take your time.”

They were boss and employee, two people who, in everyone else's eyes, could never have anything to do with each other. One was afraid to cross the line; the other was afraid of scaring him off. So the office lights witnessed countless moments when words went unspoken, while the break-room microwave reheated coffee that had gone cold again and again.

Much later, Shen Shancheng finally worked up the courage to barrel into Jiang Yuzhou's arms in a tight bear hug. The usually composed general manager simply lowered his head and said, his voice hoarse:

“I've been waiting three years for this coffee. Good thing it hasn't gone completely cold.”

A heartwarming story about slow-burning love, secret crushes, and courage. Some love is like a cup of coffee left on the table. It may look cold, but pick it up, and it's still hot.
