Transmigrated as the Wicked Original Wife: I Keep a Powerful Official Who Only Cares About Money!

What should you do after transmigrating into a political intrigue novel as the vicious wife who meets the most miserable end?

The moment Shen Zhiwei opened her eyes, two old matrons were preparing to drag her off and bury her.

The original owner was spoiled and domineering, beating and berating the down-on-his-luck male lead at every turn. In the end, she even cruelly had his kidney cut out and sold it for money, making herself the most miserable cannon fodder on the entire internet.

Bound to a book spirit, the System ordered her: "Torment him! Keep him down! Crush his pride! Help him rise to the top, and you can go home!"

Shen Zhiwei obediently nodded, then turned around and began living a double life:

In public: spoiled and overbearing, ordering the poor laborer around and sending him to haul stones from a desolate mountain.

In private: beating up villains, keeping him safe, and casually gifting him a hidden iron mine.

The System thought she was dutifully completing her tasks.

The male lead thought she was deliberately humiliating him.

Everyone was waiting to see how she would meet her end.

Until the three hundred taels of debt vanished overnight, until silver from the iron mine poured in like water, until...

The future powerful minister she had supposedly "tormented" pinned her against a wall, his eyes red-rimmed.

"You deceived the whole world, but you were the one who saved me."

A yandere male lead needs taming, and she needs to make piles of money. She and the original heroine are foils to each other.
