Doraemon: Nobita and Shizuka's Sweet Life

This novel tells the story of Nobita and Shizuka's young, sincere friendship and love. It includes many heartwarming episodes from the original, with some episodes revised to a certain extent. Like the original, it is told mainly from Nobita's perspective. Nobita will grow over the course of the story, and some plotlines will be changed. The story begins after the original's “Goodbye, Shizuka” event.

As for the setting, the Doraemon Little Gang exists, and the story will focus mainly on Doraemon the Kid. Accordingly, Doraemon's birth follows the setting from the special episodes of the middle Oyama era. Characters from other works by Fujiko-sensei, including The Encyclopedia of Kiteretsu, Esper Mami, and Perman, will also appear.
