Professor, Your Body Is More Honest Than Your Words

Ten years ago, Ji Mingyue helped a girl online. The girl said, “I’ll come find you when I grow up,” then disappeared. Ji Mingyue waited for ten years.

When they met again, the girl was a CEO worth hundreds of billions, yet she acted as if Ji Mingyue didn’t exist.

Ji Mingyue, a professor, didn’t reveal who she was. Instead, she pretended to be a desperate debtor and presented herself to Shen Zhao.

Shen Zhao had troubles of her own: she needed someone who wouldn’t get clingy to help her try out an intimate relationship.

As they spent time together, Shen Zhao gradually grew addicted. It wasn’t the intimate nights she craved, but Ji Mingyue herself, including the inexplicable sense of familiarity she couldn’t explain.

Then one day, Shen Zhao dug out her old phone from ten years ago and discovered that Ji Mingyue’s WeChat name was exactly the same as the name of the big sister who had saved her back then.

“When did you recognize me?” Shen Zhao’s voice trembled.

“I never forgot you.” Ji Mingyue’s eyes reddened.

From dawn to dusk, I send my longing to the bright moon.
