The Illustrious Legitimate Daughter: Ye Li, the legitimate daughter of the Assistant Minister of Revenue, returns to the capital from Lishan...
After Prince Li breaks off their engagement, the Empress Dowager arranges for her to marry Ding Prince Mo Xiuyao, who is paralyzed in both legs and rumored to be near death.
Ye Li seems carefree and unruly, but is actually clever and courageous.
She takes on her stepmother, takes charge of the family shops, and toys with Prince Li. After marrying into the Ding Prince’s estate, she discovers that he is not as simple as he appears.
Lu Chun, Director of the Grand Astrologer’s Bureau, humiliates the Ding Prince every month under the pretext of atoning for his sins.
Ye Li investigates in secret and discovers that Lu Chun is actually Lu Dongyang, the culprit who caused the Empress Dowager’s daughter to die with his claim that “locust trees and ponds should not be planted in the palace.”
Lu Chun uses Zhou, the Ding Prince’s sister-in-law, to set up a witchcraft plot and frame the Ding Prince’s household.
On the eighteenth day of the third month, Ye Li puts her plans in motion ahead of time and joins forces with Gongsun Sheng, the capital prefect, to expose Lu Chun’s true face.
In the end, Lu Chun is brought to justice, and the Ding Prince’s household escapes disaster. Ye Li and Mo Xiuyao go from strangers to partners, and love quietly begins to blossom between them.
It's very close to the plot of the TV series, but not that tragic. It's very enjoyable to watch 👍👍👍
This is a good read. Ye Li is very humorous in the first part of the article. I am currently following the TV series and I can't get enough of it. Regardless of the fan filter, I really like this couple. I am very curious about the part about Lishan Academy. I will continue to follow it!
The author should update it soon, I can't get enough of it, double strong CP, marriage first, love later, two-way redemption
