Ne Zha: Twin Spirit Pearls

The characterization is seriously OOC. This is not Nezha and Ao Bing! It’s a fanfiction of My Senior Brother Is Too Steady. I want the Dao Ancestor and the Three Pure Ones to get along, and there are no absolute villains in the Primordial World.

There are other personal worldbuilding details.

The story diverges completely from the start and doesn’t stick very closely to the animation. Some characters have to make the list, but they won’t actually die! Haotian is good too, so feel free to support him in acting as the Heavenly Dao!

It’s all an act. Nezha is the main character, and all I care about is giving him a sweet romance.

When the story of the Great Tribulation of Investiture of the Gods descends once more, who is the one who escaped fate? Is it Li Changshou, the cautious sage who retains his memories from Blue Star, or another Spirit Pearl, whose fate is bound to Nezha’s but who bears no karmic ties and is not part of the tribulation?

I’m bad at writing blurbs. I just really love the new Nezha story in My Senior Brother Is Too Steady and couldn’t help writing this. It probably won’t be very long.

Official synopsis:

In the world, even numbers are favored. When the primordial spirit pearl, a supreme treasure of pure yang, transforms into human form, another pearl of pure yin, the Moon Spirit Pearl, naturally grows alongside it.

The Heavenly Dao brings down the Great Tribulation of Investiture of the Gods, followed by the tribulation of Journey to the West. Each time, the Primordial World is thrown into chaos, and countless living beings are killed and injured. In this story, Nezha, burdened by a deadly calamity, is a child who grows up surrounded by love.
