Online Game: Three Kingdoms, the Han Flame Burns Bright

In 2156, the full-dive strategy game Han Flame Eternal went live.

Ten thousand access codes were given to devoted Three Kingdoms fans and wealthy global elites, then scattered across the thirteen provinces of the Han Empire.

Chen Xu, a history researcher who earned an access code with twelve papers on the Han dynasty's military system, found himself in Yingchuan Commandery, Yuzhou. The moment he awakened, the Yellow Turbans were besieging the city. He was a displaced refugee, clad in rags and empty-handed.

The only thing he had to his name was a jade pendant carved with a dragon.

When he focused his thoughts on it, stars became pieces on a board. He discovered that he could play against a hazy figure in the depths of the star sea. Every game was wagered on merit, earned by killing enemies on the battlefield, governing and keeping the people safe, and surviving every deadly moment of intrigue and bloodshed.

From Yingchuan to Luoyang, from Dong Zhuo's usurpation to the warlords vying for supremacy, from Guandu to Red Cliffs, he entered a world in turmoil as a refugee and gradually tilted the balance of power.

The flame of the Han, burning for four hundred years, would not go out.

It had merely been divided into countless torches, entrusted to everyone who refused to kneel.
