Against the Current: Are You Even Playing the Game Properly?

In his previous life, Su Mufeng made money by playing NARAKA: BLADEPOINT for other people, then died suddenly in his rented apartment.

When he opened his eyes again, he had been reborn at fifteen and unexpectedly awakened the “Emperor’s Luck” trait.

This time, he wouldn’t push himself so hard. He planned to quietly become a laid-back streamer.

At eighteen, when Justice opened its servers, he registered under the name “Feng Xi.” With his absurd luck, he won every lottery and got a guaranteed drop in every dungeon, sending his livestream’s popularity soaring.

One day, while playing “echo” in the world chat, he posted a string of bizarre text.

The person on the other end accidentally sent him a friend request, then brazenly said, “My connection glitched. It’s not a big deal if we add each other, right?”

From then on, someone named “Bu Ci” appeared on his friends list.

They went from dungeon partners to regular voice-chat companions, and from online flirting to meeting in person.

Su Mufeng thought it was just a slow-blooming online romance, until one day Bu Ci said to him outside his apartment building:

“Feng Xi, I like you. Not just online. I’m serious.”

It turned out that being chosen wholeheartedly by someone was the greatest luck of all.
