[Two male leads + domineering, cold top × quiet, devoted bottom + physical and emotional angst + mutual salvation]
Duan Ke, a shadow guard in the Prince of Huainan’s household, is falsely accused of being a “mole.” In return, he gets only Shong Yun’s distrust and torture.
Kneeling in a pool of blood, covered in wounds, he repeats: “This subordinate has never betrayed his master.”
When a rain of arrows comes, he uses his inner power to break out of prison and shields his master with his own body, taking the hidden arrows for him.
On the brink of death, he smiles bitterly. “My master doesn’t believe me. Anything I say would just sound like an excuse.”
Still, he protects him with his life. Because he is his light.
Anguish that cuts to the bone, sweetness that makes the heart tremble.
I have been following this book since it was serialized. The update frequency is quite high, but there will be some chapters that get messed up along the way. The early narrative was pretty good, but in the end I felt it was a bit unfinished. There are not many sadistic plots, and the emotional line develops quickly. Some deputy CPs were also briefly mentioned. The prince will give preference and special treatment to the secret guards.
Very nice! The front part is a bit sadistic, I feel particularly sorry for Xiao Ke, but the back part is really super sweet [licking the screen], the interaction between the two is also very delicious, and the later time with the secret guards is super warm. From the serialization to the end of the main text, I have witnessed the two people's transformation from suspicion to love. I really like this book; I wish the young couple happiness forever, and the teacher will get better and better!
Not bad, the author will update soon
The structure is clear and the writing is very good.
Feels very good-looking
I really like this book. There were a lot of abuses in the early stage. Later, because of some things, the prince fell in love with the secret guard. Personally, I like this book better.
