In the near future, the real world overlaps with an unknown consciousness space called the "Abyss Script". Every time the protagonist Lin Du goes to sleep, his consciousness will be forcibly pulled into a real script killing world - this world is constructed by a mysterious organization "Dream Maker", which specializes in imprisoning the consciousness of high-value targets.
