The modern world is not the first human civilization.
Before us, the world had already been rebooted many times.
Every time a civilization was destroyed, it left behind countless “old rules”:
For example, never call someone by their real name at night; bury the dead facing north; never let a mirror reflect the moon; don’t name a child before it’s born; don’t step on a threshold; never leave a coffin empty...
These things were once true.
Then civilization rebooted, and humanity forgot them.
Now the old rules are beginning to return.
