The play tells a story about awakening, growth and unity. Shi Yao traveled through time and became the bullied concubine in the original work. Faced with the constant pressure of her legitimate daughter Shi Mingzhu and the favoritism of her family, she did not sink. Instead, she used the power of the system to help her sacrificed sisters-in-law regain their past life memories. As the truth emerges, they break the illusion of being "group favorites" from within, no longer willing to be pawns, but choose to help each other and control their own destiny. The play conveys the positive values of female self-reliance and that justice will eventually defeat injustice.
