The play reshapes the Japanese challenger Huyan Dazang in the original work as the son of Huo Feiteng and the grandson of Bai Sankong, who was born in the Central Plains. The new positioning of the protagonist runs through the whole play [25] [39]. Surrounding the mystery of the life experience of the half-brothers Yamano Dazang and Fang Baoyu, the martial arts disputes and court intrigues are connected in series, and the confrontation between various forces such as the Purple Cloth Marquis and the Holy Mother of White Water is shown. The play adds the emotional lines of four female characters, strengthening the youth idol elements and delicate emotional expressions.
