Age of Bones
At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the world was in chaos. Just as Huang Chao's troops were extinguished, Qin Zongquan's army arrived again, feeding on human flesh, and there was no rooster crow for a thousand miles. In a mass grave forgotten by the world, a baby was born among the bones and corpses everywhere.
He has no name and no father. His mother was a refugee who gave birth to him among the dead and fed him in his infancy with the flesh of dead people. She never spoke. The way she taught him was to put stones and meat together and tell him over and over again: eat, no, fire, hide. When he was three years old, his mother died of illness. He ate her limbs and covered the remaining parts with stones - he didn't understand what burial meant, but he just thought it should be done. For the next five years, he survived alone in a mass grave. He learned to cut meat, store grain, avoid wild dogs, and make fire from tree stumps struck by lightning. A bald crow followed him, and he called it Bald. They foraged together and guarded the pile of rocks under the crooked neck tree. He has a whole set of survival rules of his own, but he has never heard a human language and does not know what "human" is.
When I was nine years old, a monk walked into a mass grave. This monk did not become a monk at a young age - he was born in an evil temple that used human bones as utensils and living people to study the truth. However, in the darkest place, a trace of kindness grew that refused to be extinguished. He escaped from the evil temple and wandered around in troubled times, trying to find the tampered Buddhist teachings. He saw something in the child who ate the dead. He extended his hand to Ahan. Ahan stared at the hand. The tension and curiosity in the body are constantly alternating. This person is not within his classification.
