Some people die and leave behind a grave.
Some people die and leave behind a name.
Lin Jin has died six times, and what he left behind was something buried inside his bones.
At first, he thought he had merely been caught up in a bizarre game of rules.
Then, in Returning Name Alley, he saw his bones reflecting someone else;
then, in Shadow Gate, he heard someone say, “The Seventh Bone is hidden inside your bones”;
and finally, he understood that the face, shadow, name, and life he had lost since Volume One hadn’t disappeared. They had all been claimed by something deeper.
Four acts, thirty-eight volumes, countless doors.
In every volume, a rule waits for him to break it.
In every act, another “self” waits for him to recognize it.
And when the final layer of bone lights up, Lin Jin discovers that he isn’t the only one buried by the Seventh Bone.
It's pretty good, but a little short. I'm looking forward to the plot later.
I haven't seen anything in the adventure genre for a long time. I hope the author will continue to work hard on coding 🤭🤭
