Did Gu Shao Lose Points Today?

Su Muran, the top player on the server, was forced to take an outrageously expensive gaming companion gig because his family was in debt.

His client's ID was “No Sleep Until I Win Tonight.” Rumor had it he was a clueless rich kid, Young Master Gu.

The moment Su Muran logged in, he wanted his money back. This guy's last hits were left to chance, his positioning was pure luck, his Flash always sent him straight into a wall, and the way he fed kills was straight out of a beginner tutorial.

Su Muran put up with it for three days before finally snapping over voice chat: “Do you even know how to play?!”

There was a two-second silence on the other end, then a low, amused voice replied, “No. Why don't you teach me?”

Only later did Su Muran find out that Young Master Gu wasn't a noob at all.

He had deliberately dropped his rank all the way to Bronze just to have an excuse to cling to Su Muran.

After that, the whole server went wild:

“Has Young Master Gu dropped rank today?”

“He has! And his heart fell right along with it!”
