The Boys: I Rule Beside Homelander

This book really broke my guard. The protagonist and John, a native of his country, grew up together in the laboratory, making up for the companionship he lacked in childhood. With no playmates or friends, these feelings of loneliness are written in a very real way, but it is the warmth revealed in this depression that is the most poignant. They are not heroes in the traditional sense, but they have found a sense of belonging in each other. The process of building trust from scratch made my eyes swell. The world of Black Robe Pickets is already dark, but this fanfic uses the most delicate brushstrokes to dig out the softest parts of human nature. I declare that this is the most healing superhero fanfic I have seen this year. I will not regret it if I close my eyes.

The writing is quite good, but I don't like to incorporate too many stories, like Ultraman, I hope it can be reduced 🤭
