After seven years of marriage and running around in the workplace, Lin Jing has been living in endless trivialities and grievances all year round, and her heart is like a lonely boat adrift. She blindly accommodated and paid silently, but only received indifference and consumption. After thousands of sails, I finally woke up and stopped seeking warmth from the outside, and instead took root inward. From now on, my heart will be at home, my actions will be within bounds, and I will be able to live in peace for the rest of my life.
Reader comments
I followed several chapters in one breath and became a fan of "Heart Has A Shore". Different from the exaggerated love and marriage articles on the market, this book focuses on the most real life after marriage: the relationship between husband and wife in name only, the moral kidnapping of elders, and the concessions in the workplace. Every detail is extremely real.
The heroine goes from habitual compromise to awakening after collapse and slowly healing herself. The character growth line is very delicately depicted. The author does not advocate confrontation and breakup, but guides readers to learn to get along with life and reconcile with themselves. Five chapters are updated steadily every day, the pace is comfortable, and the more you read, the more interesting it becomes.
Recommended to friends who are experiencing marital confusion and trapped by trivial matters in life, this story will give you strength.
Thoughts after reading "The Shore in the Heart": Only when you slow down can you see the shore of life
In the days when we are driven by traffic and efficiency, we are accustomed to processing everything at "double speed": watching TV dramas at double speed, working at double speed, and do not even dare to stay emotionally for one second, for fear of being left behind by the times if we take a step slower. But "Heart Has a Shore" is like a pool of warm water, gently pressing the pause button on our lives.
After following Lin Jing through the trivialities of seven years of marriage and the exhaustion of running around in the workplace, we are shocked to realize that we have already lost ourselves in the fast pace. We are always busy rushing to the next goal, busy playing the role of a good wife, a good employee, and a good mother, but we forget to look back at the way we came from and ask: Is this kind of life what I want?
The novel does not give us the Goldfinger-style sense of counterattack, but it uses the most real struggle and reconciliation to tell us: life does not have to keep stepping on the accelerator to move forward. Slowing down does not mean giving up, but gives yourself a chance to look back - look directly at the embarrassment, regret and unwillingness of the past, and see every step of gritting your teeth in the wind and rain; slowing down does not mean giving up moving forward, but allows us to jump out of the defined life script and listen to our inner voice.
It turns out that the real "living a wonderful life" is never to live a glamorous life in the eyes of others, but to still have the courage to move forward at your own pace and find your own shore after seeing the truth of life clearly.
Life is not a sprint, you don't have to keep pressing the accelerator to rush forward. Occasionally slow down, look back at the way you came, say "Thank you" to your tired self, and then start again with this clarity and courage. You don't have to live to be someone's light, you just need to find your own shore.
The logic is reasonable, the rhythm is good, and the characters are well drawn. Like it👍
It's so pretty and really suits my taste. The story content is wonderful and the characters are vivid and not flat. And, it's quite refreshing. It's simply impossible to extricate myself. 👍
